Cancellation policy
Preorder Items
Preorder items are products available for purchase before their official release, production completion or restock date.
The estimated dispatch timeframe for each preorder item will be stated on the relevant product page, during checkout or in your order confirmation. Dispatch and delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by production, manufacturing, freight, customs or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Cancelling a Preorder
You may request to cancel a preorder within 24 hours of placing your order by contacting us at admin@ewaclothingapparel.com.au and providing your order number.
Where your cancellation request is received within this 24-hour period and the order has not already entered production, processing or fulfilment, we will cancel the affected preorder and issue a refund to the original payment method.
After the 24-hour cancellation period, we may not be able to cancel a preorder if it has already been:
-
Processed;
-
Allocated for fulfilment;
-
Submitted for production;
-
Packed; or
-
Dispatched.
Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will review your request based on the status of the order.
Where we agree to cancel a preorder after the 24-hour period, the refund will be issued to the original payment method unless another arrangement is agreed with you.
International Customers and Statutory Cancellation Rights
The 24-hour cancellation period is our voluntary preorder cancellation policy.
Customers outside Australia may have additional mandatory rights under the consumer-protection laws that apply in their country or region. These may include a statutory cooling-off period or a right to cancel certain online purchases.
Where applicable law gives you a cancellation right that is longer or more favourable than the terms of this policy, your mandatory legal rights will apply.
This policy does not require any customer to waive a cancellation, withdrawal, refund or consumer-protection right that cannot legally be excluded.
Some statutory cancellation rights may begin when an item is delivered rather than when the preorder is placed.
Preorder Delays
The dispatch timeframe shown for a preorder is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
If there is a significant delay affecting your preorder, we will contact you using the details provided with your order and provide an updated estimated timeframe where available.
Where we cannot supply the item within the advised timeframe or within a reasonable period, we will provide an appropriate solution. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, this may include:
-
Continuing with the preorder under an updated timeframe;
-
Selecting an alternative product;
-
Receiving store credit, where you agree; or
-
Cancelling the affected preorder for a refund.
Australian businesses must provide an appropriate solution when they cannot supply a paid product on time or within a reasonable period.
Products That Cannot Be Supplied
If we determine that we cannot fulfil a preorder, we will cancel the affected product and refund the amount paid for that product to the original payment method.
We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund where you are legally entitled to a refund.
Orders Containing Preorder and In-Stock Items
If an order contains both preorder and in-stock products, the entire order may be held and shipped together once all products are available.
To receive in-stock products earlier, please place preorder and in-stock products in separate orders.
If you request split shipping after placing a combined order, additional shipping charges may apply and split shipping may not always be available.
Dispatched Preorders
Once a preorder has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled before delivery.
After receiving the order, you may request a return in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and any mandatory cancellation or return rights that apply in your country or region.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
This policy applies to cancellation of preorder purchases and does not limit your rights if a product is:
-
Faulty;
-
Damaged;
-
Unsafe;
-
Incorrectly supplied;
-
Materially different from its description; or
-
Otherwise non-compliant with applicable consumer law.
Australian customers have rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including rights to an appropriate remedy where a product does not meet a consumer guarantee. International customers may also have rights under the laws of their country or region.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow up to 10 business days for us to process an approved refund. Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to display the funds in your account.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed that your refund was approved, contact us at admin@ewaclothingapparel.com.au.
